NHL 2K11 Review
The reviews about control issues are not far from the truth. However, if you play the tutorial and read how to use the controls, it really isn't as bad as it's made out to be. I haven't played 2k10, but the graphics are better than 2k9 for sure. The motion plus stick handling is awesome and the game play is more realistic than any other hockey game I have played. If you tweak the CPU skill, the game is much better...the computer is really good by default for some reason which is another reason people gave this game lower reviews.
The ability to download other peoples updated rosters are nice. I have found when I play online my rosters are changed which is annoying.
I haven't played EA Slapshot so I cannot compare the two. In all, 2k11 is a decent hockey game. For people who know the game of hockey and play this game a few times, the good points start to shine through.
